              + |
              Ignition Switch Harness |
Hot with key in the "run" position only. Not
powered with key in the "start" position. Engine will run without powering this wire, but the alternator will not charge and the antilock brakes will not function properly |

| Accessory 1 Radio, Power windows, Windshield wipers |
              Black/Light Green |

              Ignition Switch Harness |
Hot with key in the "run" or "accessory" positions.
Not powered with key in the "start" position. Do not need to apply power to this wire during remote starting. |

              Red/Light Blue |
              + |
              Ignition Switch Harness |

| Power Door Locks (Lock) |
              Pink/Yellow |
Behind Glovebox or in Drivers Door Harness |
Vehicles without factory keyless entry such
as police interceptors are five wire ground at rest reverse polarity.
Cars with factory keyless entry are positive trigger (+). |
            |
| Power Door Locks (Unlock) |
              Pink/Light Green |
Behind Glovebox or in Drivers Door Harness |
Vehicles without factory keyless entry such
as police interceptors are five wire ground at rest reverse polarity.
Cars with factory keyless entry are positive trigger (+). |

| Parking Lights |
              White/Black |
              - |
At LCM or at Headlight Switch |
              |
| Headlights |
              Red/Yellow |
              - |
At LCM or at Headlight Switch |

| Courtesy Lights |
            Black/Light Blue |
            + |
            At LCM |
            |
| Igntion Key Warning |
              Black/Pink |
              - |
              At LCM |
Supplies a ground path to the LCM when the
ignition key is in the lock cylinder. Note that cutting this wire will
not disable the warning buzzer tone when the key is in the accessory position
and the drivers door is opened |

| Door Trigger |
              Dark Blue & Black/Orange |
              - |
At LCM or Behind Drivers Kickpanel |
Diode isolate the two wires. The blue wire
is for the drivers door, the black/orange for the remaining three passengers
  doors. |

| Neutral Safety |
Park neutral switch is located on the transmission
and electrically opens the starter circuit unless the gear selector is
 in park or neutral |
            |||
| Horn |
              Dark Blue |
              - |
At base of steering column or at lcm |
Grounding this wire sounds the horn |

| Trunk Ajar |
              Brown/White |
              - |
              At LCM |
Provides a ground path when the trunk is ajar |

| Trunk Release Solenoid |
              Purple/Yellow |
              + |
Behind drivers kickpanel or in bundle of wires
  above drivers rocker panel |
On vehicles equipped with the factory keyless
entry system, the trunk release actuator lead rests at ground, so an spdt
 relay must be used. |

| Reverse Lights |
              Black/Pink |
              + |
Behind drivers kickpanel or in bundle of wires
  above drivers rocker panel |
              |
| Tachometer |
At COP assembly or at PCM |
There is no true tachometer source on 98'-02'
crown victorias. But using one of the coil on plug ignition coils signal
wires will be acceptable for most recent remote starters. There are two
wires on each coil, one is a constant +12V source Red/Light Green, the
other is the pulsed ground signal wire. If a true tachometer source is needed, an aftermarket "tach adapter" can be installed. |

| Brake Light Switch |
              Light Green |
              + |
At brake light switch or behind drivers kickpanel
or in bundle of wires above drivers rocker panel |
              |
| Rear Window Defroster Switch |
              Dark Blue/Orange |
              - |
At defroster switch or LCM |
Supply a momentary ground pulse to engage
the rear window defroster. |

| Rear Window Defroster Element Feed |
              Brown/Light Blue |
              + |
At LCM or in bundle of wires above passengers
  rocker panel |
Supply a continuous +12V to this wire to engage
the rear window defroster. Bypasses the LCM timer all together and supplies
+12V directly to the defroster elements. |
